Olympic Agenda 2020 is the strategic roadmap for the future of the Olympic Movement. Its shaping was begun in December 2013 when the newly elected President of the IOC, Thomas Bach, took on his commitment to give the IOC more relevance and success. Following a year of consultations with stakeholders of the Olympic Movement, external experts and the public, during the 127th session of the IOC in 2014, December, the Olympic Agenda 2020 was adopted unanimously. Its recommendations are currently being implemented.
